Supergroup formed with Jagger is two-years-old: Dave Stewart
Supergroup formed with Jagger is two-years-old: Dave Stewart British musician Dave Stewart has revealed that he had formed a supergroup with Rolling Stones legend Sir Mick Jagger and had kept hushed about it for two years.
The former Eurythmics star had been recording with Jagger, soul singer Joss Stone, Bob Marley's son Damian, and Slumdog Millionaire actor A.R. Rahman.
According to The New York Post, Stewart also revealed that two-year "jam session" has produced 18 tracks, which they plan to release as an album.
However he is said to be disappointed about the leak of the group.
"It's unfortunate. We've kept this quiet for two years. We have 18 songs recorded and mixed. We have all the staff and we're working on cradling this... It was like a huge long jam session that went on for months that then slowly turned into structure," Contactmusic quoted Stewart as telling the 'Beatweak magazine'. | Posted on Monday, May 23, 2011 (Archive on Monday, May 30, 2011) Posted by tthayer Contributed by tthayer
